11. User Quota Management

As previously seen in Chapter 3.3.2, user can lock a source from a Data Preparation panel, preventing it from being deleted by the back-end server or another user, and they are the only one who can delete or released it.

The locked source is tied to the user account, and remain so even when the session is closed. This means that a user can accumulate many locked sources, making it easy to lose track of.

Quota Management option inside Quota Menu is designed to provide the user with a convenient way to access and managed their locked sources.

Clicking on Quota Management opens up a panel with a comprehensive list of all the data sources they have locked, with related geospatial information.

Each item of the list is equipped with the Delete button to release the source. This works in the same way of the unlock button in the Data Preparation panel inside the inspector.

The starting quota is 64GB for any user.
